Some items cannot be shipped or are only allowed under certain conditions.

Lithium-ion batteries

We can ship lithium-ion batteries as long as they are packed in or along with equipment under certain conditions.

Fammable items

e.g. perfumes, nail polish,
paints, disinfectants

Pressurized containers

e.g. deodorants, hair sprays, paint spray cans, lighters, fire extinguishers

Means of payment

e.g. cash, cheques, securities, credit and debit cards

Weapons

e.g. guns, butterfly knives, batons, tasers, knuckle dusters, ammunition (list of examples here)

Alcohol

e.g. beer, wine, spirits and mixed drinks

Tobacco

e.g. cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices and supplies

Restricted items

We do not accept liability for loss and damage of the following goods, no matter if at our warehouse or shipped with one of our shipping carriers:

Jewelery (e.g. watches, rings, earrings)

Works of art

Items made of glass, pottery, ceramics or tiles

Data (saved on hard drivers or USB sticks)

TVs, screens or monitors

Voucher and Tickets

Prohibited goods

There are many items we cannot ship. Please make sure that you do not place orders for any of these items to our warehouse.

  • Goods subject to age verification (e.g. cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol)
  • Banknotes and coins
  • Credit, debit and other bank cards
  • SIM cards
  • ID cards, passports and any other government-issued ID
  • Documents and letters
  • Gold, silver and other precious metals and gems
  • Works of art with cultural or historical value
  • Weapons prohibited by German weapons law (a list of examples here)
  • Pharmacy-only medication
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco
  • Animals, alive and dead and products thereof
  • Perishable goods (like fruit, etc.)
  • Infectious, poisonous, caustic or contagious substances
  • Body parts of any kind (incl. DNA swabs, human remains, human hair) as well as medical samples
  • Loose furniture and mattresses
  • Pornography
  • Printer ink
  • Sanitary and phytosanitary goods
  • Tumble driers and washing machines
  • All items falling under one of the ADR classifications (a list of examples here)
  • Pressurized containers including aerosols
  • And many more…
Dangerous goods
(under the ADR classifications)

Includes items such as flammable liquids, aerosols, gases, corrosive substances, toxic substances, Perfume, eau de toilette and aftershave, Nail polish remover and more.

Prohibited weapons

Includes weapons of war, firearms, tasers, knuckle dusters, switchblades, batons, swords, ammunation and more. Weapons prohibited under Attachment 2, Section 1 of the German Weapons Act (WaffG) cannot be shipped with Shipako.
