Terms of Service

Shipako is currently a pre-launch project jointly operated by Marcel Lonnemann and Alexej Meiering (see our Imprint for full details). Shipako does not yet offer parcel forwarding, shipping, or any paid services. These Terms do not constitute a contract for such services.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to your participation in the Shipako pre-launch survey, your pre-registration for a Shipako account, and your eligibility for the €5 Launch Credit described below.

2. Eligibility

Participation in the survey, pre-registration, and eligibility for the Launch Credit is only open to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Nature of pre-registration

Registering or pre-registering for a Shipako account does not create any entitlement to use Shipako’s future services, and does not guarantee that Shipako will launch. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.

4. €5 Launch Credit

4.1 Customers who complete the pre-launch survey and pre-registration may be granted a one-time €5 Launch Credit (“Credit”).
4.2 The Credit is valid only if and when Shipako successfully launches its parcel forwarding service. No legal entitlement to the Credit exists if Shipako does not launch, and no compensation will be provided in that case.
4.3 The Credit is limited to one per customer and is tied to the email address/account used during pre-registration. Attempts to register multiple times to obtain additional Credits are not permitted and may result in exclusion from the offer.
4.4 The Credit can only be applied toward a customer’s first paid shipment through Shipako, once available. It has no cash value, cannot be paid out, transferred, or exchanged, and cannot be combined with other promotional credits unless expressly stated otherwise.
4.5 We reserve the right to change the value, conditions, or availability of the Credit at any time before Shipako’s official launch, provided that already-granted Credits are honored under the conditions in place at the time they were granted.

5. Accuracy of information

You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during the survey and registration process. We may reject or remove registrations that appear fraudulent, duplicated, or abusive.

6. No liability for pre-launch phase

As Shipako has not yet launched its services, we accept no liability for any expectation of service availability, delivery timelines, or specific service features described informally (e.g. on our website or in marketing materials) prior to the official launch and publication of our full Terms of Service.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Shipako’s services and legal structure develop. The current version will always be published on our website together with its date of revision. Once Shipako officially launches, these Terms will be replaced by full Terms of Service governing paid shipping services.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by German law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
